Legacy Sunday

This morning Bishop James was our guest speaker for ‘Legacy Sunday’ in the Western Dales. He spoke engagingly on the topic of generosity. We also took the opportunity to:

• Thank Bishop James for all he has done for the diocese and present him with a framed print of Sedbergh by congregation member Hilary Moore

• Receive Ian McPherson into the Church of England

• Thank Janet Skublics for her time as Churchwarden of Dent

• Thank Gina Barney for her work as treasurer of St Mark's Cautley over the past 20 years

• Sing Rosemary Mason happy birthday (91 today!) and share a delicious cake baked by Sarah Syred
