Lent Groups in the Western Dales

Please join us for one of our friendly and reflective Lent groups.

In SEDBERGH we will be studying ‘God with Us’ by Rowan Williams. We will be exploring the meaning of the cross and resurrection of Christ, then and now. The first three sessions will consider the sign, the sacrifice, and the victory of the cross, and the final two sessions will consider the resurrection.

You can join us on Monday afternoons at St Andrew’s Sedbergh (2pm), or Tuesday evenings at the Vicarage (7.30pm). Please note the first afternoon session is on Tuesday 20 February, with remaining sessions being on Monday afternoons. The Tuesday evening sessions begin on 20 February.

In DENT, we will be studying ‘Words from Calvary’ by Trevor J. Partridge. There’s a welcome with tea, coffee and cake. Discussions and learning from each other. Thursday evenings beginning 22nd February – 21st March. 7pm at the White House Flintergill.
