Appointment of Families, Children, and Youth Worker

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Maunder as our new Families, Children, and Youth Worker, in the Western Dales Mission Community.

Having grown up in Sedbergh, Ben is well known to our churches, as well as the wider communities of the Western Dales. As he moves into this full time post, he will be able to build upon existing relationships, as he encourages our children and young people in their faith, and looks for new ways to engage with the wider community.

Ben says: “After 20 years in teaching and having lived and worshipped in Sedbergh nearly all of my life I have long felt a calling to serve God and young people here in the Western Dales.  So, I am absolutely delighted to have been appointed to this position and I cannot wait to get started working with our amazing families, children and young people!”

Ben will be starting the new role in January 2025. We are very grateful to God for providing this opportunity, and are confident that he will make a great addition to the team! Please do pray for Ben as he settles into this new role, that he may know the blessing of God upon him.
