A thank you from David and Sarah Crouchley

We want to express our thanks to everyone for organising and attending our leaving service last week (Saturday 15 July). So much work went into preparing for the service and providing a wonderful tea.

Thanks also for the painting (which we had been admiring for many months) which will look great in our lounge and be a reminder of our seven years here, the gift card and the lovely plant. Thanks also for the lovely cards and messages received. We have so many happy memories of our time here and are glad that we will be able to come back from time to time to see our family.

At another service on Sunday (for Bishop James retirement) we read these words ‘May the love that is in our hearts be a bond which unites us forever, wherever we may be’.
